Family Day Care
Family Day Care is a child care service offering families affordable, personalised care by a qualified educator in a safe and nurturing environment. Educators may care for up to 7 children at any one time, with no more than 4 children under school age. We accept children ranging from school age, preschoolers and younger.
We also offer all day session, before and after school care and holiday care.
About Our Services
In February 2016 Lake Bolac opened an In-Venue Family Day Care Facility, which operates from the rear of Lake Bolac College in the previous Student Centre.
The facility is managed by two separate yet amazing Family Day Care businesses, 'Lake Bolac Family Day Care' and 'Lisa's Little Learners'. Both businesses are committed to providing a high-quality child care service in a natural, home like environment. Our approach to learning allows children the opportunity to explore their natural world and learn through play at their own development stage. We aim to provide an atmosphere where families feel welcome, comfortable and confident in the care they receive.
Both Family Day Care services operate under the Inspired Family Day Care coordination unit. We work closely with the Inspired Family Day Care team, families attending the services and the local & district community.
Inspired EC was established in 2008 and now works with services all throughout Australia. "While our passion lies in nature based education and the importance of play in high quality environments, what really sets apart is our approach to working with early childhood professionals. We always have been and always will be a family friendly business. At Inspired we understand just how big a decision is to place your child into the care of an Early Childhood service or educator. We appreciate that all families want the best for their children and aim to support families through this process".
Inspired Family Day Care was established in response to the voices of families and educators seeking a more natural and challenging experience of childhood for their children. It is founded on the belief that all children deserve a childhood filled with wonder and adventure. We have passionate educators and mentors in NSW, QLD, VIC and ACT. Inspired Family Day Care has been established to provide quality family day care in home environments that have an appreciation and connection to the natural world. If you want your child to enjoy simply being a child, to learn through play, to have opportunities to engage in a small group - this is the service for you!
Some of the benefits include:
- skilled, passionate educators
- a small group of children with one dedicated educator
- child care subsidy (if eligible)
Lisa's Little Learners
Operating Monday - Friday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Lisa describes herself as hardworking and passionate about early childhood education and care. She comes from a long day care background with 9 years experience educating a variety of age groups from birth to 5 years.
Lisa has gained her sound knowledge of early childhood development while employed as a room leader, educational leader and nominated supervisor at some wonderful childcare centres across south west Victoria. Lisa now brings this knowledge and unique skill set to her family day care service in Lake Bolac. She believes it is important for children to grow and develop in a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment that promotes health, happiness and a desire to learn.
Lisa aims to build relationships that support children to feel a sense of belonging and wellbeing, which allows them to see themselves as valued, unique and important members of our community. She believes respect for each child and their family is an essential part of building strong relationships. Lisa also recognises that family is the child's first and most enduring teacher and will work hard to develop positive, open, honest and trusting partnerships with her families.
