Our Community
Community is an important part of Lake Bolac P-12 College. We see education as a partnership and encourage families and community members to be involved in the life of the school. Our community members are invited into the classroom to help with daily activities or project work, to share their knowledge, skills and a broader sense of the world.
We hold many special family and social events to build friendships, develop support networks and create a strong sense of community. Parents, grandparents, experts, older students and others regularly visit our school to learn alongside the children in specific activities.
Our students also reach out and contribute to the community and wider world through activities, excursions and visits. From singing at the local Bush Nursing Centre to foreshore planting with the Eel Festival committee and much more. Children learn and experience much from the broad sense of community at Lake Bolac P-12 College.
